Chocolate coated ball-bearings

Just another quick amusing thing...

Just heard from Dad who's over in the US at the moment for some work thing. Amongst other issues at the airport, the guy he's travelling with got himself hauled off by airport security and searched because he was carrying what looked like something that could be used as a weapon in his bag. And what did they find that had come up in their scans as ball-bearings? A packet of Maltesers.

I'm sure he finds it much less amusing than I do.

Found it quite amusing today, a bit of a role-reversal. Doorbell rings and there's some Jehovah's Witnesses there wanting to give me some tract or another. So I start to ask them about it.

"Um, actually we're really busy today, can't really stop to talk about it at the moment. Can we come back some other time?"

Aren't I supposed to be the one trying to make excuses in this situation?
